All you need to know about the LAO Compassion Fund and the Garment Program

February 22nd, 6:30 pm (EST) on ZOOM

______________________________________________________

This is an opportunity for patients, therapists and retailers to ask questions and understand our financial aid programs here at the LAO.

Sincerest apologies for the late start of the original webinar on Jan 12. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the link was delayed, and did not open on time. Many thanks to those of you who were patient. This is a second chance to answer everyones questions.

This session will cover the following:

The Compassion Fund:

The mission of The Compassion Fund is to provide financial assistance for lymphedema patients who cannot afford the necessary treatments, with the goal of having patients work with a professional practitioner to assess their condition and learn how to manage and care for their lymphedema themselves.

The Garment Fund:

For patientin need and cannot pay for compression garments, they can be considered for the program. LAO will pay up to $250 for garments, once per patient. If we can assist the patient with garments from Inventory – there will be no charge (free) and no returns or exchanges. A Doctors prescription is required.

Benefits to attending:

For Patients:

Understand what the financial aid programs offer, your eligibility, how to apply and if they are the right fit for you.

For Therapists:

The fund benefits both patients and LAO registered therapists/practitioners. When practitioners see a patient who is in need, that cannot afford treatment, they can nominate them for consideration of The Compassion Fund to help them access care. This webinar will allow professionals to better understand how they can help patients in need.

For Retailers:

For garments that require measurements and fittings – a Retailer/Fitter must be engaged. This webinar will help retailers understand how the garment fund program affects them and how they can better help patients

This event will be hosted by:
