The LAO Support Groups

Monthly Virtual Support Group

We are pleased to announce that we have launched our own monthly virtual lymphedema support group, created for and by people with lymphedema. We come together to share information, resources, hopes, fears, successes, and hardships in a safe space to co-create support and growth. 

Our support groups are facilitated by patients, LAO staff, as well as occasionally a volunteer lymphedema therapist/professional member of the LAO.

Our Virtual Support Groups take place on the second Wednesday of every month, alternating between afternoon and evening meeting times. For an upcoming Virtual Support Group, please visit the calendar on our home page to register.

Facebook Support Group

In honour of World Lymphedema Day 2022, we launched our very own Facebook support group with the aim of providing connection and a space for those with lymphedema in Ontario. The group is a safe space to share questions, tips, and tools in order to support one another.
